STOVE & OVEN ISSUES

WILL NOT TURN ON

For an electric stove will not start, first be sure the stove power cord is plugged in and all circuit breakers are switched on. You should check the pilot light on gas stoves. If the appliance power cord is plugged in and the pilot light is on in the oven, it means some other part of the oven will have to be repaired. The cause of the problem could be an surface element, infinite switch, oven burner igniter or bake and broil element.

OVEN DOESN’T HEAT

A burner or stove with no produce heat will not do much. An oven does not heat when there’s a broken bake element or a malfunctioning oven sensor. A burner will not fire up if an element breaks or when the burner switch or terminal block don’t work. We know how to fix these common issues in under 1-2 hours after our arrival.

PROGRAM PROBLEMS

You can assume the control board on an oven is broken when the program or timer settings do not work. If that is the case, we are able to replace control boards for GE, LG, Sears, Kenmore, KitchenAid and many other brands of ranges, stoves and ovens. We offer a warranty on control boards and manufacturer parts we use for this stove repair service.

OVEN TEMPERATURE IS TOO HOT

You always want a hot oven. Just not too hot! When the heat is out of control, it might be because of an issue with the sensor or thermostat. Our appliance technicians can diagnose the reason for the problem and repair it. But be careful when troubleshooting this issue for fear of burns from the very high and totally unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER WILL NOT LIGHT

A common stove problem is that an igniter glows but it won’t light. The reason this occurs is sometimes from a broken safety valve, electronic control, surface igniter or temperature sensor. We determine if we can repair these appliance parts or if we will need to replace the parts.

DOOR WILL NOT OPEN

Modern self-cleaning ovens are known to experience door issues often. The door does not open after the oven is done cleaning itself. We inspect the door latch, seal and thermostat to identify why the door won’t open up and then complete the repair in order to fix the problem.
